Sad tai chi

Couldn't agree more with the above comments. Eyes should be fixed internally not on the camera lens, upper body reflects lower body motion not the other way round, tension in arms and shoulders suggest little grasp of the basics about relaxation, relaxation and relaxation.

Dan,

Thanks for your comment. I'm no tai chi master. I'm surprised to see the comments this video is getting. Scott Cole is a well known fitness instructor.

Which tai chi videos or sites do you recommend?

Disappointing

The video is disappointing. Obviously, the practitioner doesn't know much about what he calls "tai chi". It's enough to see the way his arms are too tight and close to the body to draw a quick conclusion: this ballet is NOT tai chi, and has nothing to do with tai chi chuan.
If anyone want so get decent beneffits from practising tai chi chuan, one should look for someone who teaches the martial aspect of it, too. Otherwise, after 20 years of practice, you will, at best, get 25% of what you could have gotten by doing it right. But most likely you'll be at 10% from what you cold be in health, power, longevity and self deffence. It's really disappointing that so many "instructors" who don't even know the basics right, try to make money from people's ignorance.
