Less is More at Aldo

I bought a new pair of kicks this weekend and was surprised to see how Aldo wanted me to carry them out of the store. No big bag to stuff my shoes in to, just a little shoestring for a handle and two stickers to keep the box shut.
I wonder how much money this is saving them. Who cares? This is just another example that shows how green is good for the earth, the customer and the business. Well done Aldo.

Yeah I like this concept. It reminds me of the way I carried my first Mac out of the Apple Store. It was so simple. Packaging can really nudge a consumer closer to being a brand loyalist... I love when companies make an effort not to waste packing material. The more crap they use to encase one item- the more trash I HAVE TO THROW OUT. haahah Message to the suits: keep it lean, mean and green.
