Where that good Jamaican food is - Negril Village - Review

Negril Village (70 West 3rd Street at Laguardia) is one of my favorite restaurants. I haven't been to many other restaurants that compare to Negril. The food and drink are definitely worth the trip!

Appetizers

For your first course, you need to try the Coconut Crusted Shrimp and Negril Nachos. The shrimp are better, but the nachos are nothing to sneeze at.

Entrees

I'm a big fan of the Escoveitch Kingfish and the Rum Painted Jerk Salmon. Anything with ackee is also great, but sometimes the USA won't allow it to be imported!

Drinks

The Pina Coladas are by far the best drinks in the place! These are the best Pina Coladas I've ever had. Also worth noting: Negril's Rum Cream and the Village Island Punch.
