Howl Music and Art Festival - Tompkins Square Park [photos]
SoUrban at the Howl Music/Art Festival in Tompkins Square Park!
The sun was beating, the humidity hung thick, but the turnout for art and music was as high as the temperature!
All along 10th Street, Avenue A and 7th Street, artists and pedestrians gathered to enjoy the energetic atmosphere.
After I was done digging the art, I ventured further into the park. Some rock band, that sounded like the Gossip, was playing. Their guitarist gave a little speech about how Tompkins Square Park used to be a place for the homeless to congregate(as if it isn't now). In my hood, I'm a fan of the gentrification, he can keep his homeless!
